Driver side rear door electric latch is stop working and i tried to open the latch manually but the locked latch won't let me but remain locked. I have concerns with the situation because when door latch were broken due to accident, the door would remain locked and passengers would not be able to escape from inside of the car

This complaint is a follow-up to NHTSA Complaints #11714226 and #11730299 regarding the same unresolved safety defect. Since those complaints were filed, the vehicle has now been involved in a SECOND defect-related crash. WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE GAS ACCELERATOR- THE CAR ONLY MOVES AT A FEW MILES PER HOUR. THIS IS INTERMITTENT BUT MAKES THE CAR UNDRIVEABLE AND VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE IN TRAFFIC. The windows do not roll down or up from any of the switches. this was taken in for a warranty repair and after i received the vehicle back. it worked for a day and has now began to do the same intermittent working and not working. where more often than not i am unable to roll the windows down. Along with the memory seat function not recognizing any presses. The contact owns a 2018 Genesis G80. The contact stated that the Check Oil and Low Oil warning light illuminated while the vehicle was idling. The warning lights turned off while driving. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic to be repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 72,200.

This is a follow-up to complaint #11714226 regarding an ongoing safety defect. The defect has now resulted in a crash. The vehicle experiences repeated unintended braking at highway speeds (50–79 mph) without driver input and with no obstacles present. During multiple events, the steering becomes temporarily unresponsive or “locked,” preventing driver control. The vehicle has also exhibited unintended lane departures, erratic lane changes, and unexpected acceleration following braking. …

My oil light kept flashing on while driving until I come to complete stop. Had to take it to Genesis dealership in [XXX] Ms. They did a check on my vehicle and found the problem. I had to pay to replace these issues the sender assy-oil pressure & the harness-op sensor. The total bill was $1,012.14.
